Don't Miss Out: Check Out The Ransom Brother's New Single

Every once in a while you find a song that speaks to you. The Ransom Brother's badass new single "Fear of Missing Out" did just that for me.

The Ransom Brothers are "southern rock storytellers" from Austin, Texas who completely live up to their name. "Fear of Missing Out" tells a story about backstabbers and learning to leave them behind. From start to finish, I was hooked on that story.

I love a song that catches your attention from the second it starts. That's exactly what "Fear of Missing Out" does, a few beats then ready to roll.

Don't be fooled by the upbeat tune and background vocals, though. The lyrics are edgy and jaded. The chorus is packed with lyrics about watching your back:

"You don’t know know the whole time you’ve been talking,

They’re licking at their lips to bite your back

And you don’t know the whole time you’ve been walking

Their staring at your feet to find the cracks"

Maybe it's having a song that's not about friends and the best of times, but "Fear of Missing Out" just became my new anti-socialite anthem.
